Advent Course

This will be happening over 3 Wednesdays in December - 4th, 11th and 18th - from 2-3.30pm in Church, led by Maree.

The course is based on the well-known carol "Angels from the realms of glory" and its invitation to "Come and worship Christ, the new-born King", and will explore such themes as our understanding of angels, the role of shepherds in the church, wisdom, and what it means to be a saint.

Each of the three sessions is a separate unit and people can come to one or all sessions.  The study material will be printed each week and each study has a starter discussion, pictures and questions, giving plenty of opportunity for engaging with the Bible and thinking more about the words of a carol which is very familiar to us.
