Worship

Our main service of worship is every Sunday at 10.30am to which everyone is welcome.  Morning Worship includes Junior Church on the 3rd Sunday of the month, when there are specific activities for children. Please go to Junior Church for details.

There is also Breakfast Plus on the 1st Sunday of the month, which is especially geared at families and children but open to all of any age! See Breakfast Plus for more details.

We celebrate Holy Communion once a month, usually on the 3rd Sunday of the month, as that is when our minister takes our service, but this can vary. Please see the Calendar for more details.

The patterns and traditions we follow are those of the Methodist and United Reformed Churches. Family and All-age services are held occasionally, usually for special service.
See the Calendar for more details. Please also refer to the Calendar for details of special events and arrangements around the times of the main Christian Festivals of Christmas and Easter.

Currently we also have a Prayer Group which meets on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month, the 1st Wednesday in church and the 3rd Wednesday on Zoom. Please see more details about this here, at Time for Prayer.

Times of Worship
Every Sunday morning at 10.30 am

The one exception to this is when a month has 5 Sundays.  We then have what we call a Sector Service on the 5th Sunday – a joint service with the other churches for which our minister is also responsible, and this can take place at any one of her churches.

Morning Worship includes Junior Church on the 3rd Sunday of the month, when there are specific activities for children. Please go to Junior Church for details.

Everyone is very welcome at all our times of worship and prayer.

Breakfast Plus (1st Sunday of month)  8.30 am - 10.00 am
Breakfast includes sausage and /or bacon rolls, cereal, toast, fruit juice and a hot drink.

This is followed by various themed activities suitable for all ages, (toddlers through to 80 years).
There is a short act of worship with song and message before leaving to participate in sport, a family day or a church service.
