Guidance on booking places for Sunday Worship

Booking places at Sunday Worship The church building inside is not the same as you remember. Due to current restrictions, we can only accommodate 28 people in the main part of the church, and chairs have been removed to reflect this.

They are grouped in two's and single chairs. We can also have a further 10 people upstairs, but to use these you must be able to get upstairs easily and safely and, more importantly, downstairs quickly in an emergency, so these seats may not be suitable for you.

Because of these restrictions, a booking service is being introduced, which may mean you are unable to come every week, but it is hoped that everyone will be able to attend two services each month.

To book a place in the first instance, those who can, should use email on the Monday or Tuesday preceding the service using this dedicated address:- unitedchurchboa3@gmail.com For those without email access, please telephone on the Monday or Tuesday preceding the service you wish to attend on 01225 868832.

You will be allocated seats and shown to these when you arrive. Family groups over two where possible will be placed together, but this may not be possible. If I can’t place you on your chosen service, you will be given preference for the next service.

If you find yourself unable to attend the service after being allocated a seat, please let Helen Bell know as it may be possible to re-allocate the seat.

Finally, worship in church is important to us all and no one should feel that anyone needs to attend more than others. Everyone is welcome. As we move forward to being able to worship together, my aim is to make this a fair, equitable and easy process for all.

Looking forward to seeing you.
